About Samana Today
We've set up this website for two main reasons. One reason is to promote Samana to prospective visitors and the other reason is to provide an effective medium for local residents to find out information and communicate quickly. As recent Samana residents ourselves, we've made a lot of new friends and found most people to be extremely friendly and helpful. One thing we did find difficult initially was the lack of a decent online resource to find local businesses and suppliers. Also there was no decent online classified advertising for the area. These are two of the things we hope SamanaToday.com will be able to provide for local residents over the comming months.
We'd also welcome any thoughts or feedback you may have about the website, particularly if you think we can improve it in any way. If you have any photos of Samana, or you are a budding writer and would like to write an article or news item for the site, let us know.
