El Catey Airport - Flights to Samana
One of the main facilities pushing Samana forward is the new international airport recently constructed at El Catey, just outside Samana City. The airport is already receiving flights from Canada and Europe, and as demand picks up, we're expecting the airport to increase the number of tourist that can visit the Samana Peninsula.
Certainly, some big hotel chains are expecting some great things, partcularly the new construction for the Gran Bahia Principe.
